Let's Meet The first time you walk into the building you will be greeted with a smiling face in a very crowded space. If you were meeting with the Center Director, Mary McDaniels, you will be whisked through the play therapy room to her office. After a brief chat and a whirlwind tour of the facility, your thoughts will be that “these people move faster than the 3 year olds.” As your tour progresses you will observe more than that; the teachers, aids, and volunteers are as enthusiastic and energetic as the children they teach. An establishment over 80 years should not go unnoticed, especially one that has touched the lives of so many. This small brochure touches on the school's rich history, dreams, and goals. Their accomplishments include brightening the future of so many families and enhancing the community of future generations. A Brighter Community, Inc. (ABC, Inc.) is so much more than just a preschool. It is a stepping stone for a family's independence. The ultimate goal remains to assist families in becoming self-sufficient. Parents must be going to school or in a job-training program in order for their child to enroll in ABC.
